Nova TTC are this year’s winners of the Handicap League Trophy.
The Nova TTC Division 1 team of John Stones (-1 handicap), Kamran Amin (4) and Steve Kosmowsky (5) were conceding a team total of 114 handicap points to another Division 1 team Kingsmith TTC B, represented by Steve Dearing (13), Stefano Bartolini (17) and Peter Fox (16).
Nova got off to a positive start by reducing the points deficit by 59 points after the first three sets. The next three sets yielded a further 62 points gain by Nova to give them a nett 7 points overall lead. Further gains in the final three sets gave Nova a comfortable victory by 58 points.
